On Sundays @ 10.30am at The Theatre Ely St Mary’s Junior School:

For younger people there is 'Children’s Club' for up to 10's, 'Impac†' if you're over 10 and our 'NC Bears' preschool group running alongside church, or if they’re a bit too young to join in yet there is a crèche within the theatre for them, so no-one misses out. The rest of us have spent the last year looking at all sorts of different things, from some of the hard questions that life throws at us, to what exactly it is that Christians believe.

We're just working our way through the book of Psalms and seeing what God has to say to us through the psalms today. It's great to see that whatever we're looking at that God's word is as relevant today as it has ever been and that Jesus shines through the whole Bible, and shines light into all our lives, as we let Him!

Midweek things:

We've got regular midweek groups that meeting on Tuesday afternoons, and Wednesday and Thursday evenings, for a chat and coffee and to have another look at the things we talked about on Sunday. Just call to check out venues and times.

Prayer is important to us. As well as encouraging individual prayer we always offer prayer during our services and provide the following opportunities to prayer for the work and life of God's Church here:

·  Alternate Monday evenings @ 7.45pm

·  Alternate Tuesday mornings @ 10am

·  Various Friday Mornings - NC Cubs a prayer time for parents and pre school children (the dates will be on the weekly notices)

·  Every Friday morning @ 7am

·  Alternate Thursday afternoons @ 2pm

·  Every Sunday morning @ 10am

We are part of a national network of evangelical churches called NEW CONNEXIONS, we are also part of the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion (http://www.cofhconnexion.org.uk/) which is a small denomination in England and Sierra Leone. We are a group of friendly and caring people from various backgrounds, and of all ages, who believe the message of the Bible is still relevant in the 21st Century. As followers of Jesus Christ we are discovering that He brings meaning, purpose and joy to our lives as we learn more about Him, and seek to love Him and serve Him.

We are full members of the Churches Together in Ely (http://elychurches.org/) and have some ties with the Countess Free Church in Ely (http://www.countessely.co.uk/), who are part of the same denomination.
